The National Roundtables on Corporate Social Responsibility

The Government of Canada, led by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, is holding a series of national roundtables in order to discuss issues of Corporate Social Responsibility in the mining, oil and gas sectors and their operations in developing countries. The objective of these Roundtables will be to examine measures that could be taken to position Canadian extractive sector companies operating in developing countries to meet or exceed leading international Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards and best practices. Interested individuals and organizations are encouraged to participate in the public forum.
